Bridgestone RB1 650B Conversion
Though I've always loved this bicycle and how it rode,
it's been hanging up dusty and unbuilt for some time now. As the years go by I've been riding fatter tires and
this one was very limited in how large a tire would fit. With no room for fenders whatsoever with the standard
700c wheels. Fortunately thanks to Grant Peterson of Rivendell fame, Jan Heine of Bicycle Quarterly and many others
who have demanded an alternative to the 700c wheeled machine, 650B wheels and tires along with the longer reach
brakes need to accommodate them, are now readily available. Thus a fine riding, yet limited versatility machine,
is back on the streets.
