Frame Paint, Repair and Restoration

Acme Bicycle Company offers a complete line of frame paint, repair and restoration services for our customers. The repair work is all done in-house while the paint is done locally.

We not only offer repair and paint services for your modern machine but we are happy to help you in the restoration of your vintage and classic road frames and bicycles. In some cases original decals are available. If originals are not available they can be reproduced. Paint can be matched, frames can be rechromed, tubes and dropouts replaced. Often customers want to add modern components to their old frames. Rear triangles can sometimes be cold-set to fit modern parts(steel frames only, of course). Derailler hangers can be added. Water bottle bosses, cable guides, slotted housing stops, pump pegs; all of these can be added to modernize your frame if you like. Whatever your needs are, Acme Bicycle Company will do our best to meet them. We also have access to NOS(new old stock) bicycle parts. When NOS parts are not available, often used parts can be made to work and look like new. Actually, for bikes that you plan to ride, restored used parts are more practical and often less expensive than NOS. Come in or call and we'll help guide you through your project.
