Welcome to the Kansas City's own Major Taylor Troop

Kenneth Walker(5th from left) has created this group to encourage and support African American Kansas Citians to embrace cycling, not only as a form of recreation, exercise and transportation, but as a lifestyle choice. Acme Bicycle Company supports Kenneths efforts in any way we can.

One other way we are trying to support this effort is by collecting donations of cycling related accessories that can make cycling more fun and safer for the participants. Some members of the Troop do not have adequate access to these items. All items donated to the Major Taylor Troop left at Acme will go directly to Kenneth to distribute to the members who will most benefit from your generosity. Items needed: helmets, jerseys, gloves, cyclometers, shoes, pedals(particularly those of the clipless variety), waterbottles and cages, tires, tubes, pumps.
